ALIS Liquid Trees are biotechnological systems that use microalgae to capture COâ‚‚, release oxygen, and improve air quality in urban and industrial environments. They function as "urban lungs" in spaces where planting conventional trees is not feasible, integrating sustainability and design in innovative ways.
Microalgae are capable of capturing up to 1.8 kg of COâ‚‚ for every kilogram of biomass produced, fixing carbon 10 to 50 times faster than a traditional tree.
